About Journey Fitness

Hi!  My name is Judy. Welcome to Journey Fitness!

I love being physically active and the strength and energy I enjoy each day as a result. This energy helps me fulfill my goals and responsibilities. I created Journey Fitness to help women get active, so they, too, can experience these results.

We have lots of responsibilities as women, which can make consistent exercise very challenging. Since achieving lasting change takes perseverance, I give women steady encouragement, while sharing practical solutions and teaching proper form.

Your body is a precious gift; I want to help you take care of it so that you can enjoy every decade of life. If you are discouraged about a lack of energy, diminishing health or strength, I want to reassure you, change is possible, and I can help.

Making healthy choices can begin with your next choice. I love seeing my clients have renewed hope, confidence, energy and strength. I invite you to contact me so that we can get started on your fitness goals.

To your success,

Judy Weldon

My Story

I love being physically active and how I feel as a result!

However, it became challenging to exercise consistently beginning in college, and especially later while raising our children. As a result, I never seemed to make progress.

I have raised three children and now have grandchildren. Today, I have even more strength than when I was a teenager. Like many women I ignored strength training in my regular exercise routines until preparing for my first certification. As I followed the strength training workouts I created for my clients, I became stronger, more toned and more energetic.

Not only did I learn to exercise more effectively, I began to think differently about my exercise, as well. I used to think it was “all or nothing”. For example, if I didn’t have 30 to 60 minutes of uninterrupted time, I would just skip exercise for that day. I now use smaller blocks of time that fit my schedule, even as little as 10 minutes.

It feels really good finally to know how to create and execute effective and efficient workouts. It feels even better to reap the results and pass on what I have learned.

The art of personal training is that I can design a fitness plan tailored to you. Your plan will address your goals, current fitness level, health concerns, schedule, and learning style. This plan will adapt with you as you progress and adds variety to keep it fun.

Let me create a plan for you!
